Just two miles out town, our interactive musuem of early American history, Old Bedford Village is celebrating "1820's Folkways" from 9am to 5pm on Saturday July 16.
We are so excited for our 1st Beer Dinner of 2016! On June 24th, Chefs Zach and Drew Ford will create a beautiful dinner of five courses (plus appetizers before the dinner in the Pub) paired with some awesome beers by Neshaminy Creek Brewing Company. We love all beer here at the Golden Eagle Inn, but we are partial to beers from Pennsylvania!
Memorial Day in Downtown Bedford starts with an outdoor movie in the Square. Local business, Sheetz, is sponsoring a showing of The Peanuts Movie at 8:30 PM on Friday Night. All are invited to bring a blanket and enjoy the show!
Saturday, May 28th, brings on a day of Yard Sales all around the Downtown. Centered around Fort Bedford Park and going on to the surrounding streets, everyone is invited to go on their own adult treasure hunt!
Saturday, May 21, 2016 Downtown Bedford is hosting their first annual car show! Just a block away from the doors of the Inn, the Show will host cars of various years, antique vendors and great live music. If you are interested in putting a car in the show please go to DBI's website and fill out a 2016 Registration Form.

With the holidays wrapping up and a new year ahead, we are excited about winter in Bedford County. Blue Knob, our local ski resort is up and running. Only a short drive away, we are looking forward to much winter fun. Seventeen runs are open for skiing and snowboarding and the state park offers many other winter activities such as cross country skiing and snowshoeing. Come for cold fun and our then enjoy our warm fireplaces!
We are very excited about celebrating the holidays at the Inn for the first time! We have many events coming up in historic downtown Bedford. The first event will be the Bedford County Garden Club Christmas Home Tour. We were honored to be asked to be part of this popular bi-annual event. The Christmas Tour is on December 7th & 8th from 1-4pm for the three selected homes and from 2-4:30pm here at The Golden Eagle Inn. Call for more information we have a few rooms left for that weekend.
