Last open to traffic in 1968, this 13 miles of abandoned superhighway is an eerie hiking or biking trail. This is a desolate trail located in Bedford and Fulton counties. Each of the two tunnels are each about a mile long and dark. Helmets and lights are needed to bike/walk through the tunnels. This trail is not maintained and you do so at your own risk. Main access point is near Breezewood and parking is available along Tannery Road off of Route 30 (Lincoln Highway). Visit the website for more information.
